After a professional career in special education, Françoise Moreillon divides her time between her family and Freemasonry.
Initiated in the Cosmos Lodge in 1963, she quickly became interested in the history of Freemasonry, especially feminine. She has been a member of the Commission Nationale d’Histoire et de Recherche Maçonniques de la Grande Loge Féminine de France for more than 25 years and was its President in 2016 and 2017. She participated in the writing of two brochures of the Voix d’initiées of the GLFF, “Pionnières 1 : Filles d’Eve et de Marianne” and “Pionnières 2 : Bâtisseuses d’Avenir” retracing the history of the 20th century adoption lodges and the birth of the GLFF.
